It was all over the place, juvenile at best and it lacked even basic fundamentals of shifter inverment or world building. I hate people who try and create their own little messed up shifter world and ruin it. I don't mind creatively and flare but everything was wrong about this. Alphas can not mate other Alphas they can't breed. And you can't just use the scale system of shifter anatomy and then say it doesn't count. I mean really why not just leave it out if you're not even going to remotely use it correctly. Past that the characters were so unlikable and uninteresting it was a torture to wade through this muddy water swamp of a mess. I'm glad it was free, it certainly doesn't need to cost anything being this bad. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2021 )

- 5.0 out of 5 stars from lisa -- Great Read : My first read by this "new to me" author and it is not the last. I saw this mentioned in an interview between Susi Hawke and John Solo. (Two of my favorites, in their respective fields.) I don't know how this amazingly talented writer was missed by me. This shifter romance is the story of Logan and Gray. The snarky omega had just the right amount of sass. This was read in one sitting and held my interest from start to finish. ( Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2021 )
